Cute Card Thursday- Thank you card

Make a thank you card is the challenge at Cute Card Thursday and this is the one I have made. My friend Lucinda and I found a local craft shop that we can buy Magnolia stamps from so we don't have to wait for postage, this has re-aquainted (re- obsessed) us with Magnolia stamps again. I coloured her with copics, which is also a new obsession for me, how good are copics, I just want to colour in all the time. I had back to back kids swimming at the local pool yesterday so I took my copics and images to colour while I was waiting, I wonder what people were thinking to see a grown up sitting there colouring in. Mojo Monday Sketch

I followed the sketch at Mojo MOnday for this card, I have not used this digi for a long time, I think it may have been the first one I purchased. THe stamps are from Stampin Up, again I have not used these stamps for a long time. It was raining here today so I made bright summery cards to stay happy. x Amanda

Just Magnolia

My beautiful friend gave me this gorgeous Magnolia stamp for Christmas yesterday, I love it. I have followed Mina's sketch at Just Magnolia and I'm really happy with the way this card turned out. I have now done another in pink tones but this gold one is my favourite. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas x Amanda

Mojo Monday

Well only four more sleeps until Santa comes and my house is getting very loud,excited and busy. My mum has arrived to stay for a week and a bit and the beautiful sunshine is back so it's getting hard to sit and craft, but I told myself I need to make at least one card a day and hopefully post daily so luckily everyone except me had a rest after a very busy night and morning. This is my card for Mojo Monday they have a great sketch to follow. I just received this digi from Pixie Dust Studios so I decided to make this card for nobody in particular. I also purchased some twilight digis from there but I'm still working out the best way to colour them so stay tuned. Enjoy the rest of your day, X Amanda

Mad For Markers

WEll this is my first Mad for Markers challenge, thank you Alicia for letting me know about this challenge blog. I have coloured in a Kenny K digi moviestar the first one in reds and then I have done one in pinks and one in purples. I did not write down the colours I used as I did these before I knew of this challenge but now I know what to do for the next challenge. THanks for looking, x Amanda.

Inspirational Card Sketches

This is my card for ICS . Another Kenny K digi, I am having alot of fun with these. I have done this card in green tones, my eldest daughters favourite colour but have coloured another two in red and in black. I was going to try to make a circle of card look like a cd but then thought I'd have fun and stick a real cd on. It is silver but when I scanned it came out rainbow which is pretty cool I think. One for the kids for Cute Card thursday . Another great digi image from Kenny K. I can not wait to make some more cards with their digis but I need to go and do my chores and a bit of Christmas wrapping, shopping and preparation first. Colour Create Plum and White

I have joined in at Colour Create's Challenge which is plum and white. I got this image from Kenny K digis, her name is Luscious Linda. I am going to try and colour another one of her today in reds or blues. My daughter chose this image and I thought I don't think so but when looking at the card gallery at Kenny K's she looks really good. There are so many great digis out there, people are so talented. xAmanda

Papertake Weekly

Over at Papertake Weekly you need to make a birthday card for somebody with a birthday around Christmas. My husband's birthday is three days after and we usually don't do much at all for him. I wouldn't like to have my birthday so close to Christmas that's for sure. I made this card for him but will probably make a few more before his birthday and then decide. I am new to copic markers and am loving colouring in with them, they are quite addictive so any excuse to make new cards will do. THanks for looking, Amanda xx
