Crazy for Challenges

Another Kombi van card, I only found this digi today but I think it is going to be my favourite for a while. I have coloured this one to join in the Crazy 4 Challenges colour challenge this week of Purple, orange and black. I enjoyed this colour challenge as when I first started making cards my favourite colour combo was purple and orange. Hope you enjot this challenge. xAmanda

Color Throwdown

It is absolutely gorgeous weather at the moment on the Gold Coast so the summer cards keep on coming. I was so excited to find this Kombi van digi image today, this is my nearly twelve year old's dream car. I made this card today for Color Throwdown's challenge unfortunately I didn't write it down and just remembered yellow, blue, white, olive but it was supposed to be a darker blue,brilliant blue, so it's not the exact colours sorry.I've been having alot of fun crafting again as my two girls are very keen on scrapbooking all their photos so they've been crafting with me. What a fantastic colour combo at Color Throwdown melon mambo, lucky limeade and pumpkin pie. Such beautiful bright colours. I have made this card following the sketch from Sketch Saturday for my daughters birthday, She loves the beach and wants a surfboard for her birthday.

baby's first Christmas

Hi I have entered these two Christmas cards in the Winter Wonderland Challenge, Baby's 1st Christmas. I am excited this Christmas as I have a seven month old daughter and it will be her first Christmas. My other two daughters are twelve and ten and are not too sure about Santa so I will be able to keep the magic going for alot longer now.

paper romance challenge

Paper Romance have a black and white and one other colour challenge. I have chosen purple, black and white. Again I have used a new decoupage kit I bought from the craft shop which I like. Unfortunately when I have photographed my cards with my phone they were too blurry so I scanned them and it's harder to see the 3D. I think my husband really likes these cards it's the most he has ever commented on my cards even browsing the net for me to get more kits. Hope you like it. x Amanda

A trio of football players for Papertake Weekly's Trio Tastic Challenge. I found a new craft store today and when I walked in I thought it didn't have anything I wanted. I then looked closely at the cards made by the owner and she told me about the decoupage sets she makes them with. I ended up buying one of every different one she had in the shop. This is one of them, I bought sporting and car ones. They are a little different for me I Hope you like them. x Amanda

Good morning. I have followed the sketch at Mojo Monday to create this card. The image is from stitchy bear. I had a day off yesterday with my daughter so I had a bit of time to create a few cards, my boss liked a wedding card I had made and bought it and asked for another two the same so I made those aswell. Signs of Spring is the challenge at Cute Card THursday. I have made a step card but you I have scanned it because I can not find my camera cord so you cannot really see the the stepped out bit. I had fun making this card as it was a rainy day here so it brightened it up a little bit. Thanks Amanda

am in the mood for making baby cards at the moment, there seems to be quite a few babies around me. My daughter found these cute little coat hangers at the craft shop so I wanted to play with them. Truly scrumptious/Alphabet challenge/stampin for the weekend

I love this sketch from Truly Scrumptious, I think it is my favourite so far. I have used it for a couple of card sthis weekend and plan on using it some more. I have also entered this card in Stampin for the Weekend challenge Springtime as well as Alphabet challenge R is for ribbons and One Stop Craft Challenge black/white and one other colour. X amanda

card patterns

Today I have made a sympathy card following the sketch at card patterns. THese are not my favourite cards to make so I try to make one every now and then. It's easier to make one when you don't need it straight away because it's very hard to do when you have just lost someone special. I love dragonflies and forgot I had a little of this paper left. Sketch Saturday

Good Morning, It's going to be another very hot day on the Gold Coast. I'm up early to post this morning, I am not finding alot of craft time right now so my cards are done in stages over a few days and then most of the time the challenge has finished. Oh well. I have followed the sketch at sketch Saturday.
I am loving this Lotv stamp it is so cute. I bought another wedding one as well but I haven't used it yet, hopefully this weekend. Have a fantastic day. x Amanda
